21 Email Subject Lines That Increase Open Rates
It's 2021 and email marketing is still one of the best ways to build a relationship and engage your audience in the most cost-effective way.
But, most people receive too many emails every day, so it's important to find legitimate ways (not spammy) to encourage your readers to open your emails.
For some inspiration, I've collated 21 Email Subject Lines That Increase Open Rates.
Keep in mind that before you go use any of these subject lines in your emails, be sure to check that they have some context to the content of your email. You won't build trust with your readers if you try to trick them into opening something they're not expecting to see.
Ok, let's get into it...
1. "let's talk about [topic/idea]"
2. "a [better/smarter/faster] way to [reach a specific goal]"
3. "can I help you with [reading a specific goal]?"
4. "quick question regarding [project]"
5. "hey [Name], check this out"
6. "[Name], looking forward to seeing you at [Event]"
7. "where do I even start?"
8. "are you prepared to overcome [specific challenge]?"
9. "[Name], I need your advice"
10. "have you been to [place]?"
11. "request to connect"
12. "goodbye, [Name]"
13. "you missed it"
14. "essential resources to help you with [challenge]"
15. "free to talk at [date]?"
16. "[Name] said we should connect"
17. "hey"
18. "have you solved [challenge] yet?"
19. "you'll love this article, [Name]"
20. "let's cut to the chase"
21. "thoughts?"
BONUS TIP:
You may have noticed that all of the subject lines start with a lowercase letter. This is done on purpose because in most cases it will help you in two ways:
- It makes your email stand out against all the other emails in the recipient's inbox because most of the time emails are sent with the first letter capitalised.
- It makes your email appear more personal - as if a friend has sent the email.
